I'm born in a small island around the tip of a country whereby natural resources aren't really sufficient except for the deep waters around the shores. This land is called Singapore.

Loved handling a camera since secondary school, but due to the massive and expenses needed to develop film and process, it wasn't really something a school kid like me then can afford. Came and went many years before the appearances of digital cameras, of which I first held a Nikon CoolPix 5700 (December 2002).

I started shooting a lot of images with the camera, trying to find an area of where I'd love to shoot more and I found humans to be very interesting. My first thought was weddings. Why weddings? Weddings are a happy occassion where a couple comes before each other and takes a solemn vow to be together forever. The expressions, joy and emotions are indeed something very worth capturing and it's a very great pleasure to do so.

Thus I kept a lookout for wedding opportunities between friends and colleagues, offering my services for a low fee. I found that the work was heart-lightening and enjoyable, albeit the long hours. Deciding that my equipment was not enough for professional free-lance and event work, I picked up the Nikon D100 not too long ago (November 2003). The rest is as they say, history.

Time came and went, I covered weddings for 2 years plus already, my Nikon D100 DSLR has also served me well during these times. Deciding I need a professional body, I took up the call to purchase my next latest DSLR. The Nikon D2X in September 2005.
